Spectral Analysis of the Egress and Ingress Phases of Cen X-3 with XRISM/Resolve
J. Planelles-Villalva, L. Gu, J. J. Rodes-Roca +7
We investigate the phase-resolved X-ray spectral evolution of the high-mass X-ray binary Cen X-3 across eclipse ingress and egress, using two out-of-eclipse intervals as references…
Diagnosing the Fe line complex of the intracluster medium by XRISM high-resolution spectroscopy
K. Fukushima, L. Hirata, N. Y. Yamasaki +17
We aim to test the validity of the CIE framework in the ICM by performing line diagnostics based mainly on resolved Fe-K emission lines. Methods. We analyse Resolve full-array spec…
Probable Detection of a Cooler Gas Component in the Perseus Cluster with XRISM
Julian Meunier, Brian R. McNamara, Aurora Simionescu +36
We present an analysis of the temperature structure of the Perseus cluster atmosphere using XRISM Resolve observations. The average temperature rises from 3.3 keV near the nucleus…
Dynamics of AGN feedback in the X-ray bright East and Southwest arms of M87, mapped by XRISM
A. Simionescu, C. Kilbourne, H. R. Russell +24
As the central galaxy in the nearest cluster, M87 provides the best spatial resolution for disentangling the complex interactions between AGN jets and the surrounding environment.…
