Medium-resolution spectroscopic study of the intermediate-mass pre-main sequence binary Ori E
Rafael Costero, Juan Echevarría, Yilen Gómez Maqueo Chew +2
Ori E is a very young and relatively massive pre-main sequence (PMS) spectroscopic and eclipsing binary with nearly identical components. We analyze Échelle spectra of the sy…
CCD Photometry of Trapezia Stars I
A. Ruelas-Mayorga, L. J. Sánchez, A. Páez-Amador +2
We present photometric CCD observations of stars in four stellar trapezia ADS 15184, ADS 4728, ADS 2843, and ADS 16795. This study is performed on images obtained at the Observator…
CCD Photometry of the Globular Cluster NGC 5897
A. Ruelas-Mayorga, L. J. Sánchez, E. Macías-Estrada +1
We report CCD photometric observations of the globular cluster NGC 5897, in the Johnson system filters B, V , R, and I. With the values for these magnitudes we obtain various colou…
From outburst to quiescence: spectroscopic evolution of V1838 Aql imbedded in a bow-shock nebula
J. V. Hernández Santisteban, J. Echevarría, S. Zharikov +15
We analyse new optical spectroscopic, direct-image and X-ray observations of the recently discovered a high proper motion cataclysmic variable V1838 Aql. The data were obtained dur…
