Poincaré polynomial of elliptic arrangements is not a specialization of the Tutte polynomial
Roberto Pagaria
The Poincaré polynomial of the complement of an arrangements in a non compact group is a specialization of the -Tutte polynomial associated with the arrangement. In this article…
Orlik-Solomon-type presentations for the cohomology algebra of toric arrangements
Filippo Callegaro, Michele D'Adderio, Emanuele Delucchi +2
We give an explicit presentation for the integral cohomology ring of the complement of any arrangement of level sets of characters in a complex torus (alias "toric arrangement"). O…
Orientable arithmetic matroids
Roberto Pagaria
The theory of matroids has been generalized to oriented matroids and, recently, to arithmetic matroids. We want to give a definition of "oriented arithmetic matroid" and prove some…
The connection between combinatorics and cohomology of elliptic arrangements
Roberto Pagaria
We prove that the cohomology algebra of elliptic arrangements depends only on the poset of layers. In the particular case of braid elliptic arrangements, we study the cohomology as…
Two Examples of Toric Arrangements
Roberto Pagaria
We show that the integral cohomology algebra of the complement of a toric arrangement is not determined by the poset of layers. Moreover, the rational cohomology algebra is not det…
