Absorption of Fermionic Dark Matter in the PICO-60 CF Bubble Chamber
E. Adams, B. Ali, R. Anderson-Dornan +58
Fermionic dark matter absorption on nuclear targets via neutral current interactions is explored using a non-relativistic effective field theory framework. An analysis of data from…
Determining the bubble nucleation efficiency of low-energy nuclear recoils in superheated CF dark matter detectors
B. Ali, I. J. Arnquist, D. Baxter +54
The bubble nucleation efficiency of low-energy nuclear recoils in superheated liquids plays a crucial role in interpreting results from direct searches for weakly interacting massi…
Data-Driven Modeling of Electron Recoil Nucleation in PICO CF Bubble Chambers
C. Amole, M. Ardid, I. J. Arnquist +76
The primary advantage of moderately superheated bubble chamber detectors is their simultaneous sensitivity to nuclear recoils from WIMP dark matter and insensitivity to electron re…
Dark Matter Search Results from the PICO-60 CF Bubble Chamber
C. Amole, M. Ardid, I. J. Arnquist +59
New results are reported from the operation of the PICO-60 dark matter detector, a bubble chamber filled with 52 kg of CF located in the SNOLAB underground laboratory. As i…
