Mid-circuit qubit measurement and rearrangement in a Yb atomic array
M. A. Norcia, W. B. Cairncross, K. Barnes +42
Measurement-based quantum error correction relies on the ability to determine the state of a subset of qubits (ancillae) within a processor without revealing or disturbing the stat…
A high fidelity light-shift gate for clock-state qubits
C. H. Baldwin, B. J. Bjork, M. Foss-Feig +7
To date, the highest fidelity quantum logic gates between two qubits have been achieved with variations on the geometric-phase gate in trapped ions, with the two leading variants b…
Electromagnetically Induced Transparency (EIT) and Autler-Townes (AT) splitting in the Presence of Band-Limited White Gaussian Noise
Christopher L. Holloway, Matthew T. Simons, Marcus D. Kautz +5
We investigate the effect of band-limited white Gaussian noise (BLWGN) on electromagnetically induced transparency (EIT) and Autler-Townes (AT) splitting, when performing atom-base…
A Simple and Efficient Absorption Filter for Single Photons from a Cold Atom Quantum Memory
Dan T. Stack, Patricia J. Lee, Qudsia Quraishi
The ability to filter unwanted light signals is critical to the operation of quantum memories based on neutral atom ensembles. Here we demonstrate an efficient frequency filter whi…
