Gauging the complex SYK model
Ziruo Zhang, Cheng Peng
Motivated by SYK-like models describing near-BPS black holes in string/M-theory, we consider gauging the U symmetry of the complex SYK model in the presence of a Wilson line w…
Holography and the Hilbert Scheme
Samuel Crew, Daniel Zhang, Ziruo Zhang
We elucidate a holographic relationship between the enumerative geometry of the Hilbert scheme of points in the plane , with large, and the entropy of certain…
SYK models with dynamical bosons and fermions
Francesco Benini, Tomas Reis, Saman Soltani +1
We study a class of SYK models with supersymmetry, described by fermions in chiral Fermi multiplets, as well as first-order bosons in chiral multiplets. Th…
A quantum mechanics for magnetic horizons
Francesco Benini, Saman Soltani, Ziruo Zhang
We construct an supersymmetric gauged quantum mechanics, by starting from the 3d Chern-Simons-matter theory holographically dual to massive Type IIA string theory o…
Superconformal indices at large and the entropy of AdS SE black holes
Francesco Benini, Edoardo Colombo, Saman Soltani +2
The large limit of the four-dimensional superconformal index was computed and successfully compared to the entropy of a class of AdS black holes only in the particular case…
