Giant-atom-enabled quantum optics with valley-polarized photons
Marcel A. Pinto, Giovanni Luca Sferrazza, Silvia Casulleras +3
Valleytronics and valley photonics exploit the valley degree of freedom to encode and manipulate information. Here we show that photonic valleys can be selectively addressed in qua…
Spatial Addressing of Qubits in a Dispersive Waveguide
Maximilian Zanner, Romain Albert, Eric I. Rosenthal +5
Waveguide quantum electrodynamics, the study of atomic systems interacting with propagating electromagnetic fields, is a powerful platform for understanding the complex interplay b…
Optimization of Static Potentials for Large Delocalization and Non-Gaussian Quantum Dynamics of Levitated Nanoparticles Under Decoherence
Silvia Casulleras, Piotr T. Grochowski, Oriol Romero-Isart
Levitated nanoparticles provide a controllable and isolated platform for probing fundamental quantum phenomena at the macroscopic scale. In this work, we introduce an optimization…
Remote Individual Addressing of Quantum Emitters with Chirped Pulses
Silvia Casulleras, Carlos Gonzalez-Ballestero, Patrick Maurer +2
We propose to use chirped pulses propagating near a bandgap to remotely address quantum emitters. We introduce a particular family of chirped pulses that dynamically self-compress…
