Continuous colorings on compact spaces
Noé de Rancourt, Dominique Lecomte, Miroslav Zelen
We study several natural classes of graphs on a zero-dimensional metrizable compact space having no continuous coloring. We compare these graphs with the quasi-order associated wit…
The ergodicity of Orlicz sequence spaces
Noé de Rancourt, Ondřej Kurka
We prove that non-Hilbertian separable Orlicz sequence spaces are ergodic, i.e., the equivalence relation Borel reduces to the isomorphism relation between subspaces…
Continuity of coordinate functionals of filter bases in Banach spaces
Noé de Rancourt, Tomasz Kania, Jarosław Swaczyna
We prove that the coordinate functionals associated with filter bases in Banach spaces are continuous as long as the underlying filter is analytic. This removes the large-cardinal…
Large cardinals and continuity of coordinate functionals of filter bases in Banach spaces
Tomasz Kania, Jarosław Swaczyna
Assuming the existence of certain large cardinal numbers, we prove that for every projective filter over the set of natural numbers, -bases in Banach spac…
Local Banach-space dichotomies and ergodic spaces
W. Cuellar Carrera, N. de Rancourt, V. Ferenczi
We prove a local version of Gowers' Ramsey-type theorem [Ann. Math. 156 (2002)], as well as local versions both of the Banach space first dichotomy (the "unconditional/HI" dichotom…
