Noisy dynamics of confined quantum walks on a chip
L. Sansoni, E. Stefanutti, C. Benedetti +8
Quantum walks represent an excellent testbed for investigating the interplay between unitary coherent and incoherent dissipative processes. Thanks to photonic quantum interferomete…
Diameter bounds for finite simple Lie algebras
Marco Barbieri, Urban Jezernik, Matevž Miščič
We prove strong and explicit diameter bounds for finite simple Lie algebras, which parallel Babai's conjecture for finite simple groups. Specifically, we show that any nonabelian f…
Flexible -valent graphs of even girth
Marco Barbieri, Andoni Zozaya
We prove the existence of a connected flexible -valent vertex-transitive graph of girth for every integer . We also give a constructive proof if is prime.
Quasirandom and quasisimple groups
Marco Barbieri, Luca Sabatini
Fix . We say that a finite group is -quasirandom if every nontrivial irreducible complex representation of has degree at least $|G|^\varepsilo…
Compressively certifying quantum measurements
I. Gianani, Y. S. Teo, V. Cimini +4
We introduce a reliable compressive procedure to uniquely characterize any given low-rank quantum measurement using a minimal set of probe states that is based solely on data colle…
