Relative entropic uncertainty relation for scalar quantum fields
Stefan Floerchinger, Tobias Haas, Markus Schröfl
Entropic uncertainty is a well-known concept to formulate uncertainty relations for continuous variable quantum systems with finitely many degrees of freedom. Typically, the bounds…
Entropic entanglement criteria in phase space
Stefan Floerchinger, Martin Gärttner, Tobias Haas +1
We derive entropic inseparability criteria for the phase space representation of quantum states. In contrast to criteria involving differential entropies of marginal phase space di…
Wehrl entropy, entropic uncertainty relations and entanglement
Stefan Floerchinger, Tobias Haas, Henrik Müller-Groeling
The Wehrl entropy is an entropy associated to the Husimi quasi-probability distribution. We discuss how it can be used to formulate entropic uncertainty relations and for a quantif…
Validity of Whitham's modulation equations for dissipative systems with a conservation law -- Phase dynamics in a generalized Ginzburg-Landau system --
Tobias Haas, Björn de Rijk, Guido Schneider
It is well-established that Whitham's modulation equations approximate the dynamics of slowly varying periodic wave trains in dispersive systems. We are interested in its validity…
