Unified and Generalized Approach to Entanglement-Assisted Quantum Error Correction
Priya J. Nadkarni, Serge Adonsou, Guillaume Dauphinais +2
We introduce a framework for entanglement-assisted quantum error correcting codes that unifies the three original frameworks for such codes called EAQEC, EAOQEC, and EACQ under a s…
Single-shot and measurement-based quantum error correction via fault complexes
Timo Hillmann, Guillaume Dauphinais, Ilan Tzitrin +1
Photonics provides a viable path to a scalable fault-tolerant quantum computer. The natural framework for this platform is measurement-based quantum computation, where fault-tolera…
Linear-optical quantum computation with arbitrary error-correcting codes
Blayney W. Walshe, Ben Q. Baragiola, Hugo Ferretti +11
High-rate quantum error correcting codes mitigate the imposing scale of fault-tolerant quantum computers but require efficient generation of non-local, many-body entanglement. We p…
Weight Reduced Stabilizer Codes with Lower Overhead
Eric Sabo, Lane G. Gunderman, Benjamin Ide +2
Stabilizer codes are the most widely studied class of quantum error-correcting codes and form the basis of most proposals for a fault-tolerant quantum computer. A stabilizer code i…
