SVOM GRB 250314A at z 7.3: an exploding star in the era of reionization
B. Cordier, J. Y. Wei, N. R. Tanvir +103
Most long Gamma-ray bursts originate from a rare type of massive stellar explosion. Their afterglows, while rapidly fading, can be initially extremely luminous at optical/near-infr…
AT2018fyk: Candidate Tidal Disruption Event by a (Super)massive Black Hole Binary
S. Wen, P. G. Jonker, A. J. Levan +8
The tidal disruption event (TDE) AT2018fyk has unusual X-ray, UV, and optical light curves that decay over the first 600d, rebrighten, and decay again around 1200d. We explai…
Characterizing the Gamma-ray Emission Properties of the Globular Cluster M5 with the Fermi-LAT
X. Hou, W. Zhang, P. C. C. Freire +14
We analyzed the globular cluster M5 (NGC 5904) using 15 years of gamma-ray data from the Fermi Large Area Telescope (LAT). Using rotation ephemerides generated from Arecibo and FAS…
Discovery of a Gamma-ray Black Widow Pulsar by GPU-accelerated Einstein@Home
L. Nieder, C. J. Clark, D. Kandel +39
We report the discovery of 1.97 ms period gamma-ray pulsations from the 75 minute orbital-period binary pulsar now named PSR J1653-0158. The associated Fermi Large Area Telescope g…
