A non-repeating fast radio burst in a dwarf host galaxy
Shivani Bhandari, Alexa C. Gordon, Danica R. Scott +14
We present the discovery of as-of-yet non-repeating Fast Radio Burst (FRB), FRB 20210117A, with the Australian Square Kilometer Array Pathfinder (ASKAP) as a part of the Commensal…
A luminous fast radio burst that probes the Universe at redshift 1
Stuart D. Ryder, Keith W. Bannister, S. Bhandari +18
Fast radio bursts (FRBs) are millisecond-duration pulses of radio emission originating from extragalactic distances. Radio dispersion on each burst is imparted by intervening plasm…
A measurement of Hubble's Constant using Fast Radio Bursts
C. W. James, E. M. Ghosh, J. X. Prochaska +12
We constrain the Hubble constant H using Fast Radio Burst (FRB) observations from the Australian Square Kilometre Array Pathfinder (ASKAP) and Murriyang (Parkes) radio telescop…
Short GRB Host Galaxies I: Photometric and Spectroscopic Catalogs, Host Associations, and Galactocentric Offsets
Wen-fai Fong, Anya E. Nugent, Yuxin Dong +25
We present a comprehensive optical and near-infrared census of the fields of 90 short gamma-ray bursts (GRBs) discovered in 2005-2021, constituting all short GRBs for which host ga…
