From Fundamental Dynamics to Applied Cryptography: Studies on the Quantum Speed Limit and Fully Passive Quantum Key Distribution
Jinjie Li
This thesis studies two distinct frontiers of quantum information processing: the fundamental physical limits of dynamical evolution and the practical realization of secure quantum…
Quantum Speed Limits For Open System Dynamics Based On A Representation-Basis-Dependent -Seminorm
H. F. Chau, Jinjie Li
We report a family of quantum speed limits (QSLs) that give evolution time lower bounds between an initial and a final state whose separation is described by a certain representati…
Fully Passive Quantum Conference Key Agreement
Jinjie Li, Wenyuan Wang, H. F. Chau
Quantum Conference Key Agreement (CKA) provides a secure method for multi-party communication. A recently developed interference-based prepare-and-measure quantum CKA possesses the…
Fully Passive Measurement-Device-Independent Quantum Key Distribution
Jinjie Li, Wenyuan Wang, Hoi-Kwong Lo
A recently proposed fully passive QKD removes all source modulator side channels. In this work, we combine the fully passive sources with MDI-QKD to remove simultaneously side chan…
