The deep eclipses of RW Aur revisited by long-term photometric and spectroscopic monitoring
O. Lux, M. Mugrauer, R. Bischoff
RW Aurigae is a young stellar system containing a classical T Tauri star as the primary component. It shows deep, irregular dimmings, first detected in 2010. At the University Obse…
A search for runaway stars in twelve Galactic supernova remnants
O. Lux, R. Neuhäuser, M. Mugrauer +1
Runaway stars can result from core-collapse supernovae in multiple stellar systems. If the supernova disrupts the system, the companion gets ejected with its former orbital velocit…
Spectroscopic orbit determination of the long-periodic binary system Cep
R. Bischoff, M. Mugrauer, O. Lux +4
In 2015 a radial velocity monitoring campaign was started in order to redetermine and/or constrain the orbital solutions of spectroscopic binary systems. The observations were carr…
Identification of young nearby runaway stars based on Gaia data and the lithium test
R. Bischoff, M. Mugrauer, G. Torres +6
Young nearby runaway stars are suitable to search for their place of origin and possibly associated objects, for example neutron stars. Tetzlaff, Neuhäuser & Hohle (2011) selected…
