Active Sensing-assisted UAV Communications with Jittering: Framework and Performance Analysis
Guangji Chen, Long Shi, Qingqing Wu +2
Providing reliable communication for unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) via existing cellular networks is crucial for enabling the rapid growth of the low-altitude economy. However, U…
Rate-Diverse Gaussian Multiple Access: Efficient Encoder and Decoder Designs
Pingping Chen, Long Shi, Yi Fang +2
In this work, we develop a pair of rate-diverse encoder and decoder for a two-user Gaussian multiple access channel (GMAC). The proposed scheme enables the users to transmit with t…
Complex Linear Physical-Layer Network Coding
Long Shi, Soung Chang Liew
This paper presents the results of a comprehensive investigation of complex linear physical-layer network (PNC) in two-way relay channels (TWRC). A critical question at relay R is…
Optimal Rate-Diverse Wireless Network Coding
Taotao Wang, Soung Chang Liew, Long Shi
This paper proposes an encoding/decoding framework for achieving the optimal channel capacities of the two-user broadcast channel where each user (receiver) has the message targete…
On the Subtleties of q-PAM Linear Physical-Layer Network Coding
Long Shi, Soung Chang Liew, Lu Lu
This paper investigates various subtleties of applying linear physical-layer network coding (PNC) with q-level pulse amplitude modulation (q-PAM) in two-way relay channels (TWRC).…
