A sudden dramatic change and recovery of magneto-environment of a repeating fast radio burst
Y. Li, S. B. Zhang, Y. P. Yang +35
Fast radio bursts (FRBs) are millisecond-duration radio bursts with unidentified extra-galactic origin. Some FRBs exhibit mild magneto-ionic environmental variations, possibly attr…
Polarization properties of 28 repeating fast radio burst sources with CHIME/FRB
C. Ng, A. Pandhi, R. Mckinven +21
As part of the Canadian Hydrogen Intensity Mapping Experiment Fast Radio Burst (CHIME/FRB) project, we report 41 new Rotation Measures (RMs) from 20 repeating Fast Radio Bursts (FR…
A nearby repeating fast radio burst in the direction of M81
M. Bhardwaj, B. M. Gaensler, V. M. Kaspi +23
We report on the discovery of FRB 20200120E, a repeating fast radio burst (FRB) with low dispersion measure (DM), detected by the Canadian Hydrogen Intensity Mapping Experiment (CH…
LOFAR Detection of 110-188 MHz Emission and Frequency-Dependent Activity from FRB 20180916B
Z. Pleunis, D. Michilli, C. G. Bassa +32
FRB 20180916B is a well-studied repeating fast radio burst source. Its proximity (~150 Mpc), along with detailed studies of the bursts, have revealed many clues about its nature --…
