The Eta-prime Meson with Staggered Fermions
Lakshmi Venkataraman, Gregory Kilcup
We have computed the eta-prime pseudoscalar octet mass splitting using staggered fermions on both dynamical and quenched gauge configurations. We have used Wuppertal smeared operat…
Applications of the Eigenmodes of the Staggered Dirac Operator
Lakshmi Venkataraman, Gregory Kilcup
We have constructed the lowest few eigenvectors of the staggered Dirac operator on SU(3) gauge configurations, both quenched and dynamical. We use these modes to study the topologi…
The Staggered Eta-prime with Smeared Operators
L. Venkataraman, G. Kilcup, J. Grandy
We present a refined calculation of the eta-prime mass using staggered fermions and Wuppertal smeared operators. We use quenched and dynamical configurations of size 16^3x32 with N…
On the Nf and a Dependence of BK
G. Kilcup, D. Pekurovsky, L. Venkataraman
We present results of a study of BK using tadpole improved gauge invariant staggered operators. Using three ensembles of 16^3x32 configurations with varying numbers of dynamical fl…
The Eta-prime and Cooling with Staggered Fermions
Gregory Kilcup, Jeffrey Grandy, Lakshmi Venkataraman
We present a calculation of the mass of the eta-prime meson using quenched and dynamical staggered fermions. We also discuss the effects of "cooling" and suggest its use as a quant…
