New constraints on cosmic ray-boosted dark matter from the LUX-ZEPLIN experiment
J. Aalbers, D. S. Akerib, A. K. Al Musalhi +201
While dual-phase xenon time projection chambers (TPCs) have driven the sensitivity towards weakly interacting massive particles (WIMPs) at the GeV/c^2 to TeV/c^2 mass scale, the sc…
Measurements and models of enhanced recombination following inner-shell vacancies in liquid xenon
J. Aalbers, D. S. Akerib, A. K. Al Musalhi +215
Electron-capture decays of Xe and Xe, and double-electron-capture decays of Xe, are backgrounds in searches for weakly interacting massive particles (WIMPs)…
First constraint for atmospheric millicharged particles with the LUX-ZEPLIN experiment
J. Aalbers, D. S. Akerib, A. K. Al Musalhi +215
We report on a search for millicharged particles (mCPs) produced in cosmic ray proton atmospheric interactions using data collected during the first science run of the LUX-ZEPLIN e…
Dark Matter Search Results from 4.2 Tonne-Years of Exposure of the LUX-ZEPLIN (LZ) Experiment
J. Aalbers, D. S. Akerib, A. K. Al Musalhi +215
We report results of a search for nuclear recoils induced by weakly interacting massive particle (WIMP) dark matter using the LUX-ZEPLIN (LZ) two-phase xenon time projection chambe…
