Architectural mechanisms of a universal fault-tolerant quantum computer
Dolev Bluvstein, Alexandra A. Geim, Sophie H. Li +20
Quantum error correction (QEC) is believed to be essential for the realization of large-scale quantum computers. However, due to the complexity of operating on the encoded `logical…
Optimized Gutzwiller Projected States for Doped Antiferromagnets in Fermi-Hubbard Simulators
Christian Reinmoser, Muqing Xu, Lev Haldar Kendrick +6
In quantum many-body physics, one aims to understand emergent phenomena and effects of strong interactions, ideally by developing a simple theoretical picture. Recently, progress i…
A neutral-atom Hubbard quantum simulator in the cryogenic regime
Muqing Xu, Lev Haldar Kendrick, Anant Kale +6
Ultracold fermionic atoms in optical lattices offer pristine realizations of Hubbard models, which are fundamental to modern condensed matter physics. Despite significant advanceme…
Probing the Kitaev honeycomb model on a neutral-atom quantum computer
Simon J. Evered, Marcin Kalinowski, Alexandra A. Geim +15
Quantum simulations of many-body systems are among the most promising applications of quantum computers. In particular, models based on strongly-correlated fermions are central to…
