Measurement of dome turbulence intensity from scintillation pattern in the pupil of the telescope
Victor G. Kornilov, Matwey V. Kornilov, Boris S. Safonov +4
We present measurements of optical turbulence (OT) power inside the telescope dome using an instrument registering fluctuations of intensity of a bright star at a plane conjugated…
Precision speckle interferometry with CMOS detector
I. A. Strakhov, B. S. Safonov, D. V. Cheryasov
Speckle polarimeter (SPP) is a facility instrument of the 2.5-m telescope of the Caucasian Mountain Observatory of SAI MSU. By design it is a combination of a speckle interferomete…
Differential speckle polarimetry at Cassegrain and Nasmyth foci
Boris Safonov, Pavel Lysenko, Maria Goliguzova +1
Polarimetric interferometry is a method allowing the study of the distribution of polarized flux at diffraction-limited resolution. Its basic observable is the ratio …
Study on atmospheric optical turbulence above Mt. Shatdzhatmaz in 2007--2013
Victor Kornilov, Boris Safonov, Matwey Kornilov +6
We present the results of the atmospheric optical turbulence (OT) measurements performed atop Mt. Shatdzhatmaz at the installation site of new 2.5-m telescope of Sternberg Astronom…
