Active Readout Error Mitigation
Rebecca Hicks, Bryce Kobrin, Christian W. Bauer +1
Mitigating errors is a significant challenge for near term quantum computers. One of the most important sources of errors is related to the readout of the quantum state into a clas…
Emergent hydrodynamics in a strongly interacting dipolar spin ensemble
Chong Zu, Francisco Machado, Bingtian Ye +12
Conventional wisdom holds that macroscopic classical phenomena naturally emerge from microscopic quantum laws. However, despite this mantra, building direct connections between the…
Probing many-body dynamics in a two dimensional dipolar spin ensemble
Emily J. Davis, Bingtian Ye, Francisco Machado +13
The most direct approach for characterizing the quantum dynamics of a strongly-interacting system is to measure the time-evolution of its full many-body state. Despite the conceptu…
Many-body quantum teleportation via operator spreading in the traversable wormhole protocol
Thomas Schuster, Bryce Kobrin, Ping Gao +7
By leveraging shared entanglement between a pair of qubits, one can teleport a quantum state from one particle to another. Recent advances have uncovered an intrinsically many-body…
