Unidirectional Rashba Spin Splitting in Single Layer WSSe alloy
Jihene Zribi, Debora Pierucci, Federico Bisti +12
Atomically thin two-dimensional (2D) layered semiconductors such as transition metal dichalcogenides (TMDs) have attracted considerable attention due to their tunable band gap, int…
The DAMIC-M Experiment: Status and First Results
I. Arnquist, N. Avalos, P. Bailly +69
The DAMIC-M (DArk Matter In CCDs at Modane) experiment employs thick, fully depleted silicon charged-coupled devices (CCDs) to search for dark matter particles with a target exposu…
Precision measurement of Compton scattering in silicon with a skipper CCD for dark matter detection
D. Norcini, N. Castello-Mor, D. Baxter +41
Experiments aiming to directly detect dark matter through particle recoils can achieve energy thresholds of . In this regime, ionization signals from s…
Hybridization and localized flat band in the WSe2/MoSe2 heterobilayer grown by molecular beam epitaxy
Lama Khalil, Debora Pierucci, Emilio Velez +9
Nearly localized moire flat bands in momentum space, arising at particular twist angles, are the key to achieve correlated effects in transition-metal dichalcogenides. Here, we use…
