Masking Algorithm for CCD Bleeding in Korea Microlensing Telescope Network Images
Jiseop Shin, Mankeun Jeong, Myungshin Im +3
Astronomical CCD images are often affected by bleeding from bright sources, producing column-aligned streaks that degrade source detection and photometry. We present a pixel-level…
KMTNet Synoptic Survey of Southern Sky III: The First Data Release
Seo-Won Chang, Myungshin Im, Mankeun Jeong +13
We present the first public data release (DR1) of the KMTNet Synoptic Survey of Southern Sky (KS4). This deep, wide-field imaging survey covers a southern footprint of -85$^{\circ}…
KMTNet Synoptic Survey of Southern Sky II: Data Reduction and Real-Time Transient Detection Pipeline
Mankeun Jeong, Myungshin Im, Joonho Kim +9
We present a comprehensive pipeline developed for the image processing of the KMTNet Synoptic Survey of the Southern Sky (KS4) Data Release 1. This pipeline encompasses several key…
Pre-perihelion Emergence of the CN Gas Coma in 3I/ATLAS Temporally and Spatially Resolved by the 7-Dimensional Telescope
Gregory S. H. Paek, Myungshin Im, Mankeun Jeong +8
We present time-series medium-band (R~20-40) observations of the third interstellar object 3I/ATLAS (C/2025 N1) obtained with the 7-Dimensional Telescope (7DT), enabling spatially…
