Towards Low-Energy Electron High-Resolution Spectroscopy with Transition-Edge Sensors
R. Ammendola, A. Apponi, G. Benato +62
We present a study of the energy resolution of transition-edge sensors (TESs) for the detection of electrons in the 100~eV kinetic energy range. The TES is a Ti-Au bilayer with an…
First Nuclear Ultra-Heavy Dark Matter Search in Argon Time Projection Chambers with the DarkSide-50 Experiment
P. Agnes, I. F. Albuquerque, T. Alexander +125
We report the first search for nuclear ultra-heavy dark matter (UHDM) in a dual-phase liquid argon time projection chamber using the DarkSide-50 experiment. Unlike conventional wea…
Fermionic sub-GeV Dark Matter from evaporating Primordial Black Holes at DarkSide-50
50 Collaboration, P. Agnes, I. F. Albuquerque +125
We present a search for boosted dark matter from Primordial Black Holes (PBH) evaporation using the DarkSide-50 ionization-signal-only dataset corresponding to the experiment's ($1…
Transfer Learning for Non-Intrusive Load Monitoring
Michele DIncecco, Stefano Squartini, Mingjun Zhong
Non-intrusive load monitoring (NILM) is a technique to recover source appliances from only the recorded mains in a household. NILM is unidentifiable and thus a challenge problem be…
