DESI DR2 Reference Mocks: Clustering results from UCHUU ELGs and QSOs
R. Vaisakh, J. Lasker, R. Kehoe +44
High-redshift galaxy clustering provides a powerful probe of the growth of structure, testing models of dark matter, dark energy, and galaxy formation during the epoch when the Uni…
Model-Independent Measurement of the Matter-Radiation Equality Scale in DESI 2024
B. Bahr-Kalus, D. Parkinson, K. Lodha +52
The peak of the matter power spectrum, known as the turnover (TO) scale, is determined by the horizon size at the time of matter-radiation equality. This scale can serve as a stand…
The DESI One-Percent Survey: Modelling the clustering and halo occupation of all four DESI tracers with Uchuu
F. Prada, J. Ereza, A. Smith +44
We present results from a set of mock lightcones for the DESI One-Percent Survey, created from the Uchuu simulation. This This 8 (Gpc/h)^3 N-body simulation comprises 2.1 trillion…
Testing Gravity Using Type Ia Supernovae Discovered by Next-Generation Wide-Field Imaging Surveys
A. G. Kim, G. Aldering, P. Antilogus +29
In the upcoming decade cadenced wide-field imaging surveys will increase the number of identified Type~Ia supernovae (SNe~Ia) from the hundreds to the hundreds of thousands…
