Spatial Mapping and Capacitor Trimming Developments to Improve Usable Pixel Yield in PRIMA FIRESS Kilo-Pixel Arrays
Chris Albert, Jonathon Hunacek, Hien Nguyen +14
The Probe far-Infrared Mission for Astrophysics (PRIMA) will use 8 kilo-pixel kinetic inductance detector (KID) arrays in its spectrometer module. We present an improved resonant f…
TIME Commissioning Observations: II. On-sky Characterization and the 2D Map Data Processing Pipeline
Benjamin J. Vaughan, Abigail T. Crites, Dongwoo T. Chung +24
The Tomographic Ionized-carbon Mapping Experiment (TIME) is a line intensity mapping (LIM) instrument that is designed to observe the power spectrum of the [CII] ~m emissio…
TIME Commissioning Observations: I. Mapping Dust and Molecular Gas in the Sgr A Molecular Cloud Complex at the Galactic Center
Selina F. Yang, Sophie M. McAtee, Benjamin J. Vaughan +24
We present the processing of an observation of Sagittarius A (Sgr A) with the Tomographic Ionized-carbon Mapping Experiment (TIME), part of the 2021-2022 commissioning run to verif…
Development of a planar cable-driven parallel robot for submillimeter and terahertz beam mapping measurements
Evan C. Mayer, Ian N. Lowe, Daniel P. Marrone +20
The spatial sensitivity pattern of millimeter-wavelength receivers is an important diagnostic of performance and is affected by the alignment of coupling optics. Characterization c…
