The Hill sphere transits of Beta Pictoris c and the search for another 1981-like event
V. E. C. Bakker, M. A. Kenworthy, R. Stuik +17
Beta Pictoris is a young and nearby planetary system hosting an edge-on debris disk and at least three gas-giant planets. Their circumplanetary environments could host exomoons and…
The Pictoris b Hill sphere transit campaign. Paper II: Searching for the signatures of the Pictoris exoplanets through time delay analysis of the Scuti pulsations
Sebastian Zieba, Konstanze Zwintz, Matthew Kenworthy +34
The Pictoris system is the closest known stellar system with directly detected gas giant planets, an edge-on circumstellar disc, and evidence of falling sublimating bodies and…
The Pictoris b Hill sphere transit campaign. Paper I: Photometric limits to dust and rings
M. A. Kenworthy, S. N. Mellon, J. I. Bailey +33
Photometric monitoring of Beta Pictoris in 1981 showed anomalous fluctuations of up to 4% over several days, consistent with foreground material transiting the stellar disk. The su…
MASCARA-4 b/bRing-1b - A retrograde hot Jupiter around the bright A3V star HD 85628
P. Dorval, G. J. J. Talens, G. P. P. L. Otten +25
In this paper, we aim to characterize a transiting planetary candidate in the southern skies found in the combined MASCARA and bRing data sets of HD 85628, an A3V star of V = 8.2 m…
