Quantum-Classical Auxiliary Field Quantum Monte Carlo with Matchgate Shadows on Trapped Ion Quantum Computers
Luning Zhao, Joshua J. Goings, Willie Aboumrad +38
We demonstrate an end-to-end workflow to model chemical reaction barriers with the quantum-classical auxiliary field quantum Monte Carlo (QC-AFQMC) algorithm with quantum tomograph…
Toward convergence of effective field theory simulations on digital quantum computers
Omar Shehab, Kevin A. Landsman, Yunseong Nam +5
We report results for simulating an effective field theory to compute the binding energy of the deuteron nucleus using a hybrid algorithm on a trapped-ion quantum computer. Two inc…
Benchmarking an 11-qubit quantum computer
K. Wright, K. M. Beck, S. Debnath +21
The field of quantum computing has grown from concept to demonstration devices over the past 20 years. Universal quantum computing offers efficiency in approaching problems of scie…
Ground-state energy estimation of the water molecule on a trapped ion quantum computer
Yunseong Nam, Jwo-Sy Chen, Neal C. Pisenti +23
Quantum computing leverages the quantum resources of superposition and entanglement to efficiently solve computational problems considered intractable for classical computers. Exam…
