Multi-time quantum process tomography on a superconducting qubit
Christina Giarmatzi, Tyler Jones, Alexei Gilchrist +3
Current quantum technologies are at the cusp of becoming useful, but still face formidable obstacles such as noise. Noise severely limits the ability to scale quantum devices to th…
Neural networks for on-the-fly single-shot state classification
Rohit Navarathna, Tyler Jones, Tina Moghaddam +5
Neural networks have proven to be efficient for a number of practical applications ranging from image recognition to identifying phase transitions in quantum physics models. In thi…
Approximations in transmon simulation
Tyler Jones, Kaiah Steven, Xavier Poncini +2
Classical simulations of time-dependent quantum systems are widely used in quantum control research. In particular, these simulations are commonly used to host iterative optimal co…
Quantum rifling: protecting a qubit from measurement back-action
Daniel Szombati, Alejandro Gomez Frieiro, Clemens Müller +3
Quantum mechanics postulates that measuring the qubit's wave function results in its collapse, with the recorded discrete outcome designating the particular eigenstate that the qub…
