The Pre-Outburst Properties of the FU Ori Object HBC 722
Gregory J. Herczeg, Bo Reipurth
FU Ori outbursts are thought to play an important role in stellar assembly and the evolution of protoplanetary disks. However, the progenitor young stellar objects are largely unch…
Submillimeter and Mid-Infrared Variability of Young Stellar Objects in the M17 HII Region
Zhiwei Chen, Doug Johnstone, Carlos Contreras Peña +12
We conducted a comprehensive analysis of young stellar object (YSO) variability at submillimeter and mid-infrared (mid-IR) wavelengths for the M\,17 \ion{H}{2} region, using 3.5 ye…
The First JWST View of a 30-Myr-old Protoplanetary Disk Reveals a Late-stage Carbon-rich Phase
Feng Long, Ilaria Pascucci, Adrien Houge +20
We present a JWST MIRI/MRS spectrum of the inner disk of WISE J044634.16262756.1B (hereafter J0446B), an old (34 Myr) M4.5 star but with hints of ongoing accretion. The sp…
Compact Disks in a High Resolution ALMA Survey of Dust Structures in the Taurus Molecular Cloud
Feng Long, Gregory J. Herczeg, Daniel Harsono +24
We present a high-resolution (, au, mean sensitivity of Jy~beam at 225 GHz) snapshot survey of 32 protoplanetary disks around young stars with spe…
