O(,)-covariant two-loop -functions and Poisson-Lie T-duality
Falk Hassler, Thomas B. Rochais
We show that the one- and two-loop -functions of the closed, bosonic string can be written in a manifestly O(,)-covariant form. Based on this result, we prove that 1) Pois…
S-folds, String Junctions, and 4D SCFTs
Jonathan J. Heckman, Craig Lawrie, Thomas B. Rochais +2
S-folds are a non-perturbative generalization of orientifold 3-planes which figure prominently in the construction of 4D SCFTs and have also recently been used to…
-corrected Poisson-Lie T-duality
Falk Hassler, Thomas Rochais
We propose leading order -corrections to the Poisson-Lie T-duality transformation rules of the metric, -field, and dilaton. Based on Double Field Theory, whose corrections t…
Geometric Approach to 3D Interfaces at Strong Coupling
Markus Dierigl, Jonathan J. Heckman, Thomas B. Rochais +1
We study 4D systems in which parameters of the theory have position dependence in one spatial direction. In the limit where these parameters jump, this can lead to 3D interfaces su…
Geometric Unification of Higgs Bundle Vacua
Mirjam Cvetic, Jonathan J. Heckman, Thomas B. Rochais +2
Higgs bundles are a central tool used to study a range of intersecting brane systems in string compactifications. Solutions to the internal gauge theory equations of motion for the…
