Distillation of Squeezing using a pulsed engineered PDC source
Thomas Dirmeier, Johannes Tiedau, Imran Khan +5
Hybrid quantum information processing combines the advantages of discrete and continues variable protocols by realizing protocols consisting of photon counting and homodyne measure…
When heterodyning beats homodyning: an assessment with quadrature moments
Yong Siah Teo, Christian R. Muller, Hyunseok Jeong +3
We examine the moment-reconstruction performance of both the homodyne and heterodyne (double-homodyne) measurement schemes for arbitrary quantum states and introduce moment estimat…
Quantum Cloning of Binary Coherent States - Optimal Transformations and Practical Limits
Christian R. Müller, Gerd Leuchs, Christoph Marquardt +1
The notions of qubits and coherent states correspond to different physical systems and are described by specific formalisms. Qubits are associated with a two-dimensional Hilbert sp…
Parsing Squeezed Light into Polarization Manifolds
C. R. Müller, L. S. Madsen, A. Klimov +4
We investigate polarization squeezing in squeezed coherent states with varying coherent amplitudes. In contrast to the traditional characterization based on the full Stokes paramet…
