The Southern Photometrical Local Universe Survey (S-PLUS): searching for metal-poor dwarf galaxies
M. Grossi, D. R. Gonçalves, A. C. Krabbe +22
The metal content of a galaxy's interstellar medium reflects the interplay between different evolutionary processes such as feedback from massive stars and the accretion of gas fro…
Assessing the photometric redshift precision of the S-PLUS survey: the Stripe-82 as a test-case
A. Molino, M. V. Costa-Duarte, L. Sampedro +42
In this paper we present a thorough discussion about the photometric redshift (photo-z) performance of the Southern Photometric Local Universe Survey (S-PLUS). This survey combines…
The Southern Photometric Local Universe Survey (S-PLUS): improved SEDs, morphologies and redshifts with 12 optical filters
C. Mendes de Oliveira, T. Ribeiro, W. Schoenell +142
The Southern Photometric Local Universe Survey (S-PLUS) is imaging ~9300 deg^2 of the celestial sphere in twelve optical bands using a dedicated 0.8 m robotic telescope, the T80-So…
J-PLUS: measuring emission line fluxes in the nearby universe
R. Logroño-García, G. Vilella-Rojo, C. López-Sanjuan +29
In the present paper we aim to validate a methodology designed to extract the Halpha emission line flux from J-PLUS photometric data. J-PLUS is a multi narrow-band filter survey ca…
