Isomorphisms between lattices of hyperinvariant subspaces
David Mingueza, M. Eulàlia Montoro, Alicia Roca
Given two nilpotent endomorphisms, we determine when their lattices of hyperinvariant subspaces are isomorphic. The study of the lattice of hyperinvariant subspaces can be reduced…
The trace of the local -degree
Thomas Brazelton, Robert Burklund, Stephen McKean +2
We prove that the local -degree of a polynomial function at an isolated zero with finite separable residue field is given by the trace of the local -deg…
The centralizer of an endomorphism over an arbitrary field
Mingueza David, Montoro M. Eulalia, Roca Alicia
The centralizer of an endomorphism of a finite dimensional vector space is known when the endomorphism is nonderogatory or when its minimal polynomial splits over the field. It is…
The Hlawka Zeta Function as a Respectable Object
Michael Montoro
The Hlawka Zeta Function is a Dirichlet series defined geometrically which provides an integral representation of the number of lattice points contained in the dilation for so…
The lattice of characteristic subspaces of an endomorphism with Jordan-Chevalley decomposition
David Mingueza, M. Eulàlia Montoro, Alicia Roca
Given an endomorphism A over a finite dimensional vector space having Jordan-Chevalley decomposition, the lattices of invariant and hyperinvariant subspaces of A can be obtained fr…
