Learning quantum dynamics with latent neural ODEs
Matthew Choi, Daniel Flam-Shepherd, Thi Ha Kyaw +1
The core objective of machine-assisted scientific discovery is to learn physical laws from experimental data without prior knowledge of the systems in question. In the area of quan…
Toward Reliability in the NISQ Era: Robust Interval Guarantee for Quantum Measurements on Approximate States
Maurice Weber, Abhinav Anand, Alba Cervera-Lierta +6
Near-term quantum computation holds potential across multiple application domains. However, imperfect preparation and evolution of states due to algorithmic and experimental shortc…
Geometric and holonomic quantum computation
Jiang Zhang, Thi Ha Kyaw, Stefan Filipp +3
Geometric and holonomic quantum computation utilizes intrinsic geometric properties of quantum-mechanical state spaces to realize quantum logic gates. Since both geometric phases a…
Noisy intermediate-scale quantum (NISQ) algorithms
Kishor Bharti, Alba Cervera-Lierta, Thi Ha Kyaw +11
A universal fault-tolerant quantum computer that can solve efficiently problems such as integer factorization and unstructured database search requires millions of qubits with low…
