Software Compensation for Highly Granular Calorimeters using Machine Learning
S. Lai, J. Utehs, A. Wilhahn +61
A neural network for software compensation was developed for the highly granular CALICE Analogue Hadronic Calorimeter (AHCAL). The neural network uses spatial and temporal event in…
The quality assurance test of the SliT ASIC for the J-PARC muon /EDM experiment
Takashi Yamanaka, Yoichi Fujita, Eitaro Hamada +10
The SliT ASIC is a readout chip for the silicon strip detector to be used at the J-PARC muon /EDM experiment. The production version of SliT128D was designed and mass producti…
EUDAQ A Data Acquisition Software Framework for Common Beam Telescopes
P. Ahlburg, S. Arfaoui, J. -H. Arling +54
EUDAQ is a generic data acquisition software developed for use in conjunction with common beam telescopes at charged particle beam lines. Providing high-precision reference tracks…
Pion and proton showers in the CALICE scintillator-steel analogue hadron calorimeter
The CALICE Collaboration, B. Bilki, J. Repond +169
Showers produced by positive hadrons in the highly granular CALICE scintillator-steel analogue hadron calorimeter were studied. The experimental data were collected at CERN and FNA…
