Experimental demonstration of memory-enhanced quantum communication
Mihir K. Bhaskar, Ralf Riedinger, Bartholomeus Machielse +8
The ability to communicate quantum information over long distances is of central importance in quantum science and engineering. For example, it enables secure quantum key distribut…
An integrated nanophotonic quantum register based on silicon-vacancy spins in diamond
C. T. Nguyen, D. D. Sukachev, M. K. Bhaskar +10
We realize an elementary quantum network node consisting of a silicon-vacancy (SiV) color center inside a diamond nanocavity coupled to a nearby nuclear spin with 100 ms long coher…
Quantum network nodes based on diamond qubits with an efficient nanophotonic interface
C. T. Nguyen, D. D. Sukachev, M. K. Bhaskar +8
Quantum networks require functional nodes consisting of stationary registers with the capability of high-fidelity quantum processing and storage, which efficiently interface with p…
Quantum interference of electromechanically stabilized emitters in nanophotonic devices
Bartholomeus Machielse, Stefan Bogdanovic, Srujan Meesala +15
Photon-mediated coupling between distant matter qubits may enable secure communication over long distances, the implementation of distributed quantum computing schemes, and the exp…
