Emmanuel Davoust
The Pic du Midi Observatory, situated at an altitude of 2890 meters, was always very hard to reach, and living there was difficult. Its history is a lesson in courage. It is also a…
An optical and near-IR survey of nearby clusters of galaxies
S. Andreon, J. Annis, J. -C. Cuillandre +6
We present an optical and near-infrared survey of galaxies in nearby clusters aimed at determining fundamental quantities of galaxies, such as multivariate luminosity function and…
The Chemical Evolution of Starburst Nucleus Galaxies
R. Coziol, T. Contini, E. Davoust +1
The metallicities derived from spectroscopic observations of a sample of Starburst Nucleus Galaxies (SBNGs) are compared to those of several other types of galaxies (normal giant g…
Morphological classification and structural parameter of galaxies in the Coma and Perseus clusters
S. Andreon, E. Davoust, P. Poulain
We present the results of an isophotal shape analysis of galaxies in the Coma and Perseus clusters. These data, together with those of two previous papers, provide two complete sam…
