WEAVE-StePS. A stellar population survey using WEAVE at WHT
A. Iovino, B. M. Poggianti, A. Mercurio +44
The upcoming new generation of optical spectrographs on four-meter-class telescopes will provide valuable opportunities for forthcoming galaxy surveys through their huge multiplexi…
The S2 Stream: the shreds of a primitive dwarf galaxy
David S. Aguado, G. C. Myeong, Vasily Belokurov +12
The S2 stream is a kinematically cold stream that is plunging downwards through the Galactic disc. It may be part of a hotter and more diffuse structure called the Helmi stream. We…
A few StePS forward in unveiling the complexity of galaxy evolution: light-weighted stellar ages of intermediate redshift galaxies with WEAVE
L. Costantin, A. Iovino, S. Zibetti +29
The upcoming new generation of optical spectrographs on four-meter-class telescopes will provide invaluable information for reconstructing the history of star formation in individu…
Stellar populations of galaxies in the ALHAMBRA survey up to . IV. Properties of quiescent galaxies on the stellar masssize plane
L. A. Díaz-García, A. J. Cenarro, C. López-Sanjuan +7
We perform a comprehensive study of the stellar population properties of quiescent galaxies as a function of size and stellar mass to constrain the physical mechanism governing the…
