A neural network emulator for the Lyman- 1D flux power spectrum
Laura Cabayol-Garcia, Jonás Chaves-Montero, Andreu Font-Ribera +1
The Lyman- forest offers a unique avenue for studying the distribution of matter in the high redshift universe and extracting precise constraints on the nature of dark matter, n…
Non-linearities in the Lyman- forest and in its cross-correlation with dark matter halos
Jahmour J. Givans, Andreu Font-Ribera, Anže Slosar +6
Three-dimensional correlations of the Lyman- (Ly) forest and cross correlations between the Ly forest and quasars have been measured on large scales, allowing a precise me…
An emulator for the Lyman- forest in beyond-CDM cosmologies
Christian Pedersen, Andreu Font-Ribera, Keir K. Rogers +4
Interpreting observations of the Lyman- forest flux power spectrum requires interpolation between a small number of expensive simulations. We present a Gaussian process emulator…
Massive neutrinos and degeneracies in Lyman-alpha forest simulations
Christian Pedersen, Andreu Font-Ribera, Thomas D. Kitching +5
Using a suite of hydrodynamical simulations with cold dark matter, baryons, and neutrinos, we present a detailed study of the effect of massive neutrinos on the 1-D and 3-D flux po…
