On-sky performance of the CLASS Q-band telescope
John W. Appel, Zhilei Xu, Ivan L. Padilla +34
The Cosmology Large Angular Scale Surveyor (CLASS) is mapping the polarization of the Cosmic Microwave Background (CMB) at large angular scales () in search of a…
The Cosmology Large Angular Scale Surveyor Receiver Design
Jeffrey Iuliano, Joseph Eimer, Lucas Parker +42
The Cosmology Large Angular Scale Surveyor consists of four instruments performing a CMB polarization survey. Currently, the 40 GHz and first 90 GHz instruments are deployed and ob…
Variable-delay Polarization Modulators for the CLASS Telescopes
Kathleen Harrington, Joseph Eimer, David T. Chuss +43
The search for inflationary primordial gravitational waves and the measurement of the optical depth to reionization, both through their imprint on the large angular scale correlati…
A Projected Estimate of the Reionization Optical Depth Using the CLASS Experiment's Sample-Variance Limited E-Mode Measurement
Duncan J. Watts, Bingjie Wang, Aamir Ali +17
We analyze simulated maps of the Cosmology Large Angular Scale Surveyor (CLASS) experiment and recover a nearly cosmic-variance limited estimate of the reionization optical depth $…
