Hidden Symmetry of Kerr-deSitter from Manifest Symmetry of Painlevé VI
Stefan Hollands, Akihiro Ishibashi, Jochen Zahn
We show that the recently discovered ``mass symmetries" of the radial Teukolsky equation for Kerr-deSitter black holes can be understood from a corresponding symmetry of the Painle…
Quantum fields on self-similar spacetimes
Jochen Zahn
We study scalar (not necessarily conformal) quantum fields on self-similar spacetimes. It is shown that in states respecting the self-similarity the expectation value of the stress…
Quantum effects in near-extremal charged black hole spacetimes
Maria Alberti, Jochen Zahn
We compute the semiclassical current and stress-energy fluxes both at the event and Cauchy horizon of a near-extremal Reissner-Nordström black hole. We consider a minimally-coupled…
Long-range correlations of the stress tensor near the Cauchy horizon
Christiane Klein, Jochen Zahn
We show that the stress tensor of a real scalar quantum field on Reissner-Nordstr{ö}m-de Sitter spacetime exhibits correlations over macroscopic distances near the Cauchy horizon.…
Quantum Instability of the Cauchy Horizon in Reissner-Nordström-deSitter Spacetime
Stefan Hollands, Robert M. Wald, Jochen Zahn
In classical General Relativity, the values of fields on spacetime are uniquely determined by their values at an initial time within the domain of dependence of this initial data s…
