First identification of a doublet wobbling excitation mode in Pd
A. Karmakar, P. Datta, N. Rather +8
An experimental investigation of Pd has revealed, for the first time, the existence of two wobbling bands, both having one phonon configuration and originating from excitat…
Search for the origin of wobbling motion in the region: The case of Xe
S. Chakraborty, S. Bhattacharyya, R. Banik +24
In-beam -ray spectroscopy of Xe has been carried out to study the structure of the intruder band. Excited states were populated via an -induced fusion…
Shape evolution in the rapidly rotating Gd nucleus
H. Pai, S. Rajbanshi, Somnath Nag +14
Ground state band of Gd has been investigated following their population in the Sn(Cl,~p2n)Gd reaction at 195 MeV of beam energy using a large arr…
First Observation of Multiple Transverse Wobbling Bands of Different Kinds in Au
S. Nandi, G. Mukherjee, Q. B. Chen +18
We report the first observation of two wobbling bands in Au, both of which were interpreted as the transverse wobbling (TW) band but with different behavior of their wobbli…
Spectroscopy of Hg using Digital INGA at VECC, Kolkata
S. Das, S. Chatterjee, S. Samanta +13
Spectroscopic investigation of the Hg (Z=80, N=116) was carried out using the Indian National Gamma Array (INGA) setup at the Variable Energy Cyclotron Centre (VECC), Kolka…
