Status of a point-like neutron generator development
S. V. Golubev, V. A. Skalyga, I. V. Izotov +9
In this paper we report on a high current density ion beam profile diagnostics with a slit-based system as a reliable method, capable of high thermal load applications. The task ar…
Towards explanation of the two-frequency heating effect in electron cyclotron ion sources
A. G. Shalashov, E. D. Gospodchikov, I. V. Izotov +1
The quasilinear model of electron cyclotron resonance (ECR) heating in a mirror magnetic field predicts essential broadening of the electron distribution function in case of bichro…
Controlled turbulence regime of electron cyclotron resonance ion source for improved multicharged ion performance
V. A. Skalyga, I. V. Izotov, A. G. Shalashov +5
Fundamental studies of excitation and non-linear evolution of kinetic instabilities of strongly nonequlibrium hot plasmas confined in open magnetic traps suggest new opportunities…
High current ion beam formation with strongly inhomogeneous electrostatic field
S. S. Vybin, I. V. Izotov. V. A. Skalyga
A new approach to the development of extraction systems capable of forming ion beams with previously inaccessible intensity is proposed. The use of inhomogeneous accelerating field…
