Breeding the optical Schroedinger's cat state
Demid V. Sychev, Alexander E. Ulanov, Anastasia A. Pushkina +3
Superpositions of macroscopically distinct quantum states, introduced in Schroedinger's famous Gedankenexperiment, are an epitome of quantum "strangeness" and a natural tool for de…
Synthesis of the Einstein-Podolsky-Rosen entanglement in a sequence of two single-mode squeezers
Ilya A. Fedorov, Alexander E. Ulanov, Yury V. Kurochkin +1
Synthesis of the Einstein-Podolsky-Rosen entangled state --- the primary entangled resource in continuous-variable quantum-optical information processing --- is a technological cha…
A scheme for quantum teleportation between discrete and continuous encodings of an optical qubit
Alexander E. Ulanov, Demid Sychev, Anastasia A. Pushkina +2
Transfer of quantum information between physical systems of a different nature is a central matter in quantum technologies. Particularly challenging is the transfer between discret…
Loss-tolerant quantum enhanced metrology and state engineering via the reverse Hong-Ou-Mandel effect
Alexander E. Ulanov, Ilya A. Fedorov, Demid Sychev +2
Preparing highly entangled quantum states between remote parties is a major challenge for quantum communications [1-8]. Particularly promising in this context are the N00N states,…
