Towards comprehension of the variability of the magnetic chemically peculiar star CU Virginis (HD 124224)
Zdeněk Mikulášek, Jiří Krtička, Andrzej Pigulski +2
The upper main sequence stars CU Virginis is the most enigmatic object among magnetic chemically peculiar (mCP) stars. It is an unusually fast rotator showing strictly periodic lig…
What is New with Landstreet Star HD 37776 (V901 Ori)?
Zdeněk Mikulášek, Jiří Krtička, Matthew E. Shultz +6
HD\,37776 (V901\,Ori, B2\,Vp), also known as Landstreet's Star, is possibly the most remarkable magnetic chemically peculiar (mCP) star known. Zeeman Doppler Imaging revealed this…
Modeling of interactions between supernovae ejecta and aspherical circumstellar environments
Petr Kurfürst, Jiří Krtička
Massive stars are characterized by a significant loss of mass either via spherically symmetric stellar winds or pre-explosion pulses, or by aspherical forms of circumstellar matter…
An overview of the properties of a sample of newly-identified magnetic chemically peculiar stars in the Kepler field
Zdeněk Mikulášek, Ernst Paunzen, Stefan Hümmerich +4
We present a comprehensive overview of the properties of a sample of 41 magnetic chemically peculiar stars that have been recently identified in the Kepler field by our team (Hümme…
