Parallel decoder for Low Density Parity Check Codes: A MPSoC study
Sudeep Kanur, Georgios Georgakarakos, Antti Siirilä +4
The near channel performance of Low Density Parity Check Codes (LDPC) has motivated its wide applications. Iterative decoding of LDPC codes provides significant implementation chal…
A Newcomer In The PGAS World -- UPC++ vs UPC: A Comparative Study
Jérémie Lagravière, Johannes Langguth, Martina Prugger +2
A newcomer in the Partitioned Global Address Space (PGAS) 'world' has arrived in its version 1.0: Unified Parallel C++ (UPC++). UPC++ targets distributed data structures where comm…
Performance optimization and modeling of fine-grained irregular communication in UPC
Jérémie Lagravière, Johannes Langguth, Martina Prugger +3
The UPC programming language offers parallelism via logically partitioned shared memory, which typically spans physically disjoint memory sub-systems. One convenient feature of UPC…
On the Performance and Energy Efficiency of the PGAS Programming Model on Multicore Architectures
Jérémie Lagravière, Johannes Langguth, Mohammed Sourouri +2
Using large-scale multicore systems to get the maximum performance and energy efficiency with manageable programmability is a major challenge. The partitioned global address space…
