The ALMA-QUARKS Survey: II. the ACA 1.3 mm continuum source catalog and the assembly of dense gas in massive star-forming clumps
Fengwei Xu, Ke Wang, Tie Liu +30
Leveraging the high resolution, high sensitivity, and wide frequency coverage of the Atacama Large Millimeter/submillimeter Array (ALMA), the QUARKS survey, standing for "Querying…
ALMA observations reveal no preferred outflow--filament and outflow--magnetic field orientations
T. Baug, Ke Wang, Tie Liu +12
We present a statistical study on the orientation of outflows with respect to large-scale filaments and the magnetic fields. Although filaments are widely observed toward Galactic…
Planck Early Results: The Galactic Cold Core Population revealed by the first all-sky survey
Planck Collaboration, P. A. R. Ade, N. Aghanim +202
We present the statistical properties of the first version of the Cold Core Catalogue of Planck Objects (C3PO), in terms of their spatial distribution, temperature, distance, mass,…
Planck Early Results: The submillimetre properties of a sample of Galactic cold clumps
Planck Collaboration, P. A. R. Ade, N. Aghanim +201
(abridged) We perform a detailed investigation of sources from the Cold Cores Catalogue of Planck Objects (C3PO). Our goal is to probe the reliability of the detections, validate t…
