Tripartite Genuine Non-Gaussian Entanglement in Three-Mode Spontaneous Parametric Downconversion
Andrés Agustí, C. W. Sandbo Chang, Fernando Quijandría +3
We show that the states generated by a three-mode spontaneous parametric downconversion (SPDC) interaction Hamiltonian possess tripartite entanglement of a different nature to othe…
Observation of Three-Photon Spontaneous Parametric Downconversion in a Superconducting Parametric Cavity
C. W. Sandbo Chang, Carlos Sabín, P. Forn-Díaz +5
Spontaneous parametric downconversion (SPDC) has been a key enabling technology in exploring quantum phenomena and their applications for decades. For instance, traditional SPDC, w…
Quantum-Enhanced Noise Radar
C. W. Sandbo Chang, A. M. Vadiraj, J. Bourassa +2
We propose a novel protocol for quantum illumination: a quantum-enhanced noise radar. A two-mode squeezed state, which exhibits continuous-variable entanglement between so-called s…
Characterization of a multimode coplanar waveguide parametric amplifier
M. Simoen, C. W. S. Chang, P. Krantz +5
We characterize a novel Josephson parametric amplifier based on a flux-tunable quarter-wavelength resonator. The fundamental resonance frequency is ~1GHz, but we use higher modes o…
